Mausoleum of Guri Emir - the tomb of Tamerlane (14-15 century) - the place where Amir Temur, his sons and grandsons are buried. Registan Square is one of the outstanding examples of urban planning art of Central Asia, formed in the XVII century and consisting of three madrasahs - Ulugbek (1417-1420), Sher-Dor (1619-1636) and Tillya-Kari (1647-1660). On it you can \"turn the pages\" of the many thousands of histories of Samarkand.   Bibi Khanum Mosque is the largest in Central Asia and one of the largest in the entire Muslim world. Mausoleum of the Prophet Daniel <\/strong>- The prophet Daniel is revered by the three world religions. He is one of the four great Israelite prophets in Judaism, a prophet whose book is included in the Old Testament of the Christian Bible and a prophet of the Islamic tradition. Legend has it that Timur transported part of Daniel's remains, namely his hand, to Samarkand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
